We come highly recommended , simply ask your decorator!

Our family owned and operated business provides residential and commercial clients with a wide range of products and services. In addition to residential and commercial lighting, we also provide ceiling fans, lamp repairs, on-site consultations and more. Our primary focus is the client’s home and office environments. Gainesville Lighting works to achieve those needs through a collaborative consultation process. This usually involves meeting the design and construction professionals. It is only by getting to know our customer and their specific surroundings that we can use our talents to best showcase your style.

Our family business was founded in 2011. As locals to the Gainesville area, one of the ways we involve the art and design communities is by displaying their talents in the showroom and on our website.

We chose our new store location in Thornebrook Village because it is synonymous with the arts. A large percentage of our customers are designers or decorators, and we believe there is a close relationship between people who buy lighting and people who buy home furnishings and art. The store represents an extension of the artistic process, and we are able to become more intimate with our designs and yours. Proper lighting is in part a function of these elements.

Our knowledgeable staff specializes in consultations to ensure your perfect fixture is brought to life. Owner, Susan Alvarez takes great pride in offering clients a truly memorable experience. Bert Heuser is the team’s lighting consultant and has 35 years of experience in the industry! Gainesville Lighting’s service and repair technician, Gary Smith, offers a complete knowledge of low-voltage technologies, including LED, Xenon and Halogen.
